Samantha Wilson, LEED Green Associate, Associate IIDA

Interior Designer

Samantha graduated from Appalachian State University with a degree in interior design and a minor in building science. While commercial interior design remains her focus, her professional problem-solver mindset allows her to contribute to many levels of a project through programming, strategic planning, relocation management and project management.

T2pm's interior design services enable Samantha to work with a variety of professionals to coordinate and implement project scope, schedule, and budget. This exposure has expanded Samantha's understanding of industry practices as well as her ability to plan and integrate industry and institutional standards.

Samantha's experience includes departmental space consolidation studies, renovations, space refreshes, facility studies, and strategic implementation studies. Her responsibilities have included the production and coordination of construction documents; on-site field verifications; coordination and specification of finishes, furniture, and equipment; project scheduling; and relocation management.

Samantha's additional interests lie in psychology, sociology and sustainability. She is intrigued by the impact of the human environment on human behavior and how users interact with the space around them. As a LEED Green Associate, Samantha designs with the knowledge of green principles, a motivation to lessen the environmental impact of her projects, and a desire to improve her client's experience within their space. She aims to achieve her LEED AP accreditation and implement more green building and sustainability aspects within projects.
